Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching, and how does it work?

Coaching is a supportive, conversational process focused on helping you gain clarity, perspective, and confidence in your next steps.

Our work together is reflective and client-led. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, coaching helps you explore what matters most, understand what’s getting in the way, and make calm, aligned decisions that move you forward.

Is coaching the same as therapy or counselling?

No. Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment.

Coaching focuses on the present and future — supporting insight, clarity, and decision-making — rather than diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. If you’re seeking clinical or therapeutic support, a licensed professional may be more appropriate.

Who do you work with?

I work with individuals who are experiencing transition, uncertainty, or a sense that something needs to change — personally, professionally, or both.

Clients often come to me when they want clarity, steadiness, and a space to think things through without pressure or judgement.

What happen after I submit the contact form?

Once you submit the form, I personally review your message.

You’ll receive a response within 24–48 hours to acknowledge your enquiry and outline next steps. There’s no obligation — this initial contact is simply a way to start a conversation and see whether working together feels right.

Is the initial conversation a sales call?

No.

The initial conversation is a calm, confidential discussion to understand what you’re navigating and whether coaching support would be helpful. There’s no pressure to commit to anything, and you’re free to decide what feels right for you.

How long are coaching sessions?

Session length and frequency are discussed together, based on your needs and circumstances.

Coaching is tailored rather than fixed, and sessions are designed to feel focused, supportive, and practical rather than rushed.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes.

All conversations are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Confidentiality is a core part of creating a safe and trusted space.

Do you work with clients online or in person?

Most coaching sessions are conducted online, allowing flexibility and accessibility regardless of location.

If in-person sessions are available, this will be discussed individually.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or at a crossroads — and you value calm, thoughtful conversation rather than quick fixes — coaching may be a good fit.

The initial conversation is an opportunity to explore this together without commitment.

What if I'm not sure what I want yet?

That’s completely okay.

Many people come to coaching precisely because they don’t yet have clarity. Coaching can help you slow things down, explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and gain a clearer sense of direction over time.
